NMRA Releases 2005 NMRA-Denso Ford Nationals Official Event Schedule

Santa Ana, CA – ProMedia Events and the NMRA-Denso Ford Nationals have released the NMRA official event schedule for the 2005 season. The NMRA Denso Ford Nationals, the premier all-Ford heads-up drag racing, car show and swap meet event series in the country, will again produce a total of nine events in 2005. The NMRA will return to all of the great national facilities that were featured on the 2004 series tour, including Bradenton Motorsports Park, Route 66 Raceway, Beech Bend Raceway, and Maple Grove Raceway.

With a new major advertising campaign scheduled to launch in January, and the return of ESPN2 coverage, the NMRA Denso 2005 season will be it’s best ever. Charlie Harmon, ProMedia Events Vice President, had this to say about the NMRA and it’s prospects for the 2005 year, “we are excited about this year’s schedule. We have some great venues and wonderful partners who share in our goals of producing outstanding events. You couple this with the stellar level of competition that NMRA participants offer and you have the ingredients for the best Ford events in some of the country’s premier markets.”

The kick-off event of the season, the 4th Annual Nitto Tires NMRA Spring Ford Nationals, will explode into Bradenton Motorsports Park during Florida’s wild and crazy Spring Break weekend. Following Bradenton will be the 6th Annual Bassani Exhaust NMRA Ford Nationals at Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA. Opening up the US 131 Motorsports Park season will be the Toyo Tires NMRA Ford Nationals, in Martin, Michigan. As well, the NMRA Toyo Tires Ford Motorsport Nationals has also been moved up a week to the 2nd weekend in June at Maple Grove Raceway. The NMRA is also returning to Atco, Route 66, KCIR, and Beech Bend Raceway for the Nitto Tire NMRA World Finals. New for the 2005 season, the NMRA-Denso Ford Drag Racing Series will be the featured attraction at the 27th Annual Ford Expo held at National Trail Raceway in Columbus, OH over the Labor day weekend.
