Hight Gets New Record

For the second time this year, John Force team driver Robert Hight has recorded the quickest Funny Car pass in history.

Hight finished a quarter-mile in 4.636 seconds at 327.74 mph during qualifying for the Checker Schuck's Kragen Nationals at Firebird International Raceway.

Track conditions may have contributed to a string of new records on Friday night.
