Roush 'Trak Pak' Nears Production
by CP Staff
Announced last month, the Roush 427R Trak Pak Mustang was spotted in testing last week at Waterford Hills road course, north of Pontiac, MI.
Roush executives and engineers were at the track, along with the Roush Owners and Enthusiasts Association who were holding an open lapping day for members.
The Trak Pak car being run was a late prototype version, fully decked out with carbon fiber rear wing, competition interior and big brake upgrade.

"The handling on this Trak Pak Mustang is truly something amazing," Joe Thompson, ROUSH Performance vice-president and general manager, told us. Joe was at the track with his two sons, getting them used to a high performance future, no doubt.
The suspension system has been completely revamped to easily manage the demands of a road course and includes adjustable front and rear shocks, front and rear springs, front and rear stabilization bars, front and rear jounce bumpers and adjustable camber/caster plates.
The ROUSH 427R Trak Pak Mustang has a suggested retail price of $58,245. The vehicle is expected to be available very shortly. The car will be limited in production to 100 units.
