On the Road Again

How can you drive a Mustang in the south-west and not stop in Mustang, Oklahoma? For the 200 or so drivers on their way to Alabama this week, it was a moot question.
Monday's barbeque in Wild Horse Park was a must-do along the road to the 45th Anniversary Mustang celebrations in Birmingham.
The gathering herd leaves Oklahoma City today, heading for Dallas, TX, in time for lunch.

Check-in activities begin on Thursday at Barber Motorsports Park, including tech inspection for cars participating in on-track activities.
Thursday evening will see a crowd of 500 Mustangs cruising into the Homewood area, for a street party lasting well into the evening hours.
The 45th Anniversary event opens officially with ceremonies at noon on Friday. Plenty of Mustang activities will sustain the herd through to 5:00 pm on Sunday.
