Mustang Incentives are Back - Big Time

by CP Staff

March wasn't a particularly good sales month for Ford, nor any of the other companies selling cars in the United States.

While Mustang deliveries rebounded from the particularly pathetic numbers of preceeding months, this March was off by 30% compared to last March.

This year's extended winter is just now showing signs of breaking up in most parts of the country, but Ford isn't waiting for anyone's fancy to turn.

The company has announced $2500 in rebates for any V6 or GT Mustang, or Mustang Bullitt, sold by the end of April. A $1000 program is in effect until the end of June.

The imminent release of the Dodge Challenger may pose a threat as great as winter storms, as traffic is drawn to the newest 'hero' car on the block.

The 2008 Challenger SRT-8 should begin arriving at dealerships anytime now. A first hand look at the real thing may be enough to keep many people waiting until the more modestly decked out 2009 models start shipping.

We're not out of the woods yet!
