To The Surprise of Absolutely Everyone

Saleen, apparently, is realizing its strength in getting big horsepower out of Ford engines and it's looking to put those powerplants in something more exclusive than a dowdy Mustang.
The company has just revealed details of the S5S Raptor, whichgets its model designation from the Saleen 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 under the hood.
Based on the Ford block that goes into Saleen's S302 products, the concept's engine is powered by E85 ethanol and should be able to propel the S5S to speeds above 200 mph.

So far, Saleen's only released the sketch above, along with a minimal press release that says the concept is "designed for the premium performance market with segment leading horsepower and performance." An E85-powered 5.0-liter supercharged engine willbe part of the mix, the company says.
The Raptor’s aluminum structure and composite body panels give it a rigid, lightweight body, Saleen said in a release. The bigger promise is a top speed of 200 mph.
This concept car provides the first evidence that the "new" Saleen may be in the game to stay. This could get interesting.
